WOW! I didn't know that a place like this existed let alone I would be lucky enough to stay. Would have liked to have gone out a bit more but with a villa like this why bother.

I will return.

Thank you for a great holiday. This place is fantastic – every morning when I wake up I can't believe that a place like this could exist. I hope that I will come back here – this is paradise.

Stunning, breath taking, unbelievable beauty. We have fallen in love with this tiny piece of Italy . The people, the wine, the views, the villa… how perfect for a relaxing, unwinding holiday. We hope and plan to return one day to refresh our memories of this truly special place. We thank you for opening our eyes.

Paradise is the one word that best describes this haven of tranquillity… that is that it is tranquil until one or another of the family members is on a mission to get people in the pool. This place really does have something for everyone, and no matter the age group, you can't help but fall in love with the stunning surroundings. Waking up here to the sound of nothing (other than birds) is a real treat. The place is made that little bit more special by the friendliness of the locals. You may go into a restaurant where they have no translated menu, you don't speak a word of Italian and/or there is no written menu (lots of places give the menu verbally) but they will wait patiently while you work through your phrase book until you have what you want. Short of that they'll go to the kitchen & get the ingredient you can find no translation for to show you.

We came here to celebrate my grandad's and mum's birthday as a special occasion and it definitely was that. This place proved to be everything we hoped for & more.

I am writing this Visitors Book entry on my return to the UK. The ideal time to write an entry into the book would have been once the kids had gone to bed. I could not bring myself to do it as I wanted to savour every moment outside taking in the stunning views and enjoying the peace! The noisiest thing we heard all week (apart from the kids) was the burners from a hot air balloon. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. Lovely villa, wonderful welcome hamper, and great pre holiday service. I will certainly be recommending the villa.

I write this with a heavy heart as this is our last day of the most amazing 2 week holiday. This place captures the very essence of a villa holiday in Italy . The uninterrupted horizon, an undulating patchwork of rich gold, ochre browns and 1000 shades of green fulfils all of the romantic ideals I have when I think of Italy . The villa – the layout & design – really capitalises on the panoramic views. We particularly enjoyed having breakfast under the large covered/shaddy portico, overlooking the pool and hazy mist filled valley; watching as the farmland gradually revealed its carefully crafted landscape of sunflowers, corn and treelined hilltops. As the day moved on, sunlounging on the very decadent pool furniture (with little pull out drinks tables!) and luxuriating on the double sunlounger became an imperative (we found it difficult to contemplate moving most days – i.e. sightseeing etc.). Inside the villa is airy and spacious – a clever mix of charm & traditional materials, but full of mod cons and contemporary features exuding quality and style.

(oops I'm going on a bit sorry but I'm enjoying myself).

The place has been equipped with thoughtfulness and attention to detail and we honestly cannot think of anything that would have made our stay more comfortable – the girls loved swimming in the mornings and chilling in the afternoon in front of their favourite DVDs.

What made our holiday really special was the care and attention to detail – the soft Egyptian cotton towels and fragrant bedding – with beds ready made and our welcome hamper filled with essentials and items to get us through 4 hours without having to dash out shopping immediately, but also with some delicious olive oil and balsamic and best of all a bottle of Italian plonk!

Cheers, salute and thank you for a lovely holiday – we'll be back for more of the same next year and for many years to come.

Well, that was 2 weeks holiday over ... Tomorrow we'll leave for Norway and hopefully take the weather back with us ... We've had a fantastic time :- The Villa, The Region, The Weather, The Food, The Scenery - everything has made this a very special vacation. Opps !  I forgot the people - very, very friendly and helpful to us.

The Villa is gorgeous and very well set up and suited for a family !! Nice to see it being so well kitted and thought through for use and living in by kids, that was a huge benefit for us !!  - it probably resulted in us spending a lot of time at the villa. But we have made a few trips out and we have really enjoyed that too. We'll be back in the not too distant future - all the best and many many thanks from Lasse Hermaussen, Lorna Macfarlane, Thomas (7), Hannah (5), Mia (5), Kaia (4), & Max (1 1/2) and Nanny Aida (88) (Stavanger, Norway)

Well I am just about to leave your lovely Villa - The views from this place are amazing. I've had a great time with the relentless sunshine. My best memory will be of the swallows diving the pool in the afternoon.

Take care and see you soon I am sure

We have had a wonderful 2 weeks in Villa Orizzonti. We kicked off with a warm friendly welcome from Gavin and both he and Karen have been a fountain of knowledge on the area.

Le Marche has been a revelation - beautiful Tolentino with its Piazza and fab ice creams. Macerata, great market on Wednesday. Porto Sant Georgio and Porto Sant Elpidio for sandy beaches. Aqua splash for the kids. San Ginesio full of character.

The food has been consistantly good. Osteria S. Nicola - Tolentino. Terre Nostra - San Ginesio. Le Logge - Urbisaglia. Ukiyoe - Porto Sant Elpidio (Cool & Sexy)

As for the shopping - boutiques, markets, Todd's and Prada - Heavan

Thanks for making it such a great holiday - The Villa is gorgeous, I love the dining room where you can look out on to the lit pool and the amazing views.

It gave us a fabulous break from our busy lives that we all needed - Jim, Fizz, Ben, Sophie and Georgia (UK)

Thank you for a stunning holiday. The villa is amazing and the countryside is spectacular.
Did a bit of sightseeing but most of the time really enjoyed lounging around the pool, then going in for a dip to cool down.
We will definitely be returning soon.

We loved the Villa – the sunloungers, including the double were great, the big table outside and the pool. The Fans upstairs are very helpful and as the cook of the party I relished chopping on that lovely big chopping board. The furniture was nice too – it does feel like a home and this is one of the nicest Villas we have stayed in.
Le Marche is something of a hidden secret and I wont be shouting it from the roof tops … There is much to see inc. the Piano Grande in the Sibillini National Park is wonderful – it defies adjectives! St Nicolas Basilica in Tolentino was lovely, Loretta was very beautiful and the shrine really felt holy (which surprised me after finding Lourdes so chinzy!)
Norcia (in the Sibillini Park) was very peaceful and beautiful, the birthplace of St Benedict and a very interesting place. We are not religious nuts but we have found the churches really lovely!
Thank you for such an extensive welcome pack – it was exceptional.
We have had a lovely week, sadly we are off back to London now – we will return.

"Villa Orizzonti" (Villa of Horizons) really meets its label. Our one week stay turns out to be a complete success – exceeding our expectations in all aspects. A gorgeous panorama and a lovely setting. We would certainly have wanted to stay longer – both to enjoy this facility and to experience more of the surroundings. Le Marche was quite new to us as an Italian region. We have been stunned by the beauty and its offerings.
Our sincere thanks for a memorable week at "Villa Orizzonti"

Thank you for providing us with such great accommodation – rarely does it exceed expectations set from looking at internet photo’s for weeks in advance trying to imagine what it might be like.
With 2 small children we haven’t been out much but did venture to the beach (we felt Porto S.Giorgio was the nicest). We also made it to the Tods outlet – Fab if you like that sort of thing.
Wish we’d made time to visit the mountains and will do so on our return.

Sian

Beautiful house and the annex is a saviour for the children free zone (at least until 10am!)
Thanks for a lovely stay

Hopefully see you again

The villa was very good - location superb. The Monti Sibillini National Park is an absolute gem, the Pian Grande in June is one of the few sights that truly justifies the word "awesome"!
